About me
I grew up in Savannah, Georgia and I graduated from the Savannah Country Day School. I attended The University of Georgia, where I studied a lot of science and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology. While in Athens, I was an active member of several student clubs including the UGA Habitat for Humanity. It was also at UGA where I got my first opportunity to teach in Project FOCUS. After graduation, I was hired to teach internationally in Trujillo, Peru where I worked for three years teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. I spent my final year working for a nonprofit organization, HOP Hands On Peru. I implemented English classes in the local schools for children in need. You may see a blue kayak, a black bicycle, or a red canoe on my car out in the parking lot some afternoons because after class I'll be paying a visit to the Pachamama (Mother Nature).
